Troubleshooting Google Chrome

Beyond is a web-based platform and, as such, it can be utilized through the use of many different browsers. Each browser interacts with Beyond in different ways being able to understand how to work with your browser during difficulties will be important. This article is designed to assist the user overcome some of the more common issues with the desired browser.

Data Cache Errors and Clearing Cookies

When using Chrome, or any browser, users are encouraged to log out of Beyond when they are finished with their session. This serves to not only protect your data from those who may have access to your local device, but also to prevent any data caching errors from occurring. The screen shot below is an example of what this kind of error would look like:

Both of these errors can be resolved easily by clearing your browser cache within Chrome. Navigate to the upper corner of the screen. Here you will see three vertical dots. From here, navigate to your browser's history by selecting 'History.'


Alternatively, the user may use the CTRL+H hotkey to open their browsers history. Once in the browser's History, select the 'Clear Browsing Data' option as in the image below.

A wizard will appear allowing you to only clear "Cached images and files." If desired, the user may also choose to clear "Cookies and other site data.' Select these options and select 'CLEAR DATA.'

After the users' data has been cleared, attempt to login to the user's account again.

Incognito Mode

Running Beyond in incognito mode within Google Chrome will allow a user to login without storing any data or without relying on any previously stored data in your browser.

To run your browser in incognito mode, navigate to the upper right corner of your browser and select the three vertical dots opening your browser's options. Select 'New incognito window' to begin your incognito session. 

Alternatively, pressing CTRL+Shift+N will open an incognito window as well.
