Release Notes: 05/03/2024

Welcome to May! This release brings tax updates along with plenty of fixes and improvements across TempWorks products.

*Note* For Self-Hosted clients, it is essential that the latest migration scripts are applied. Additional information regarding these changes can be found within the Self-Hosted note at the bottom of this article. As always, ensure you install all updates to give your users the best experience and new features.

Additional Updates

In Beyond

Fixed an error that would occur when attempting to Activate/Deactivate email templates.

In Bridge

Fixed an issue preventing the granting of Enterprise access to users.

In HRCenter

Completed required updates to the default Federal W9.

In Reports

Added monthly employment status to the Colorado mag media file.
Updated the CA Pay Transparency Reports to exclude Worksites not located in California.

Tax Updates

Completed the following tax updates:
- Kentucky
  - For McKee, KY - Added tax rate of 1%.
  - For Middlesboro, KY - Updated the tax rate to 2.45%.
  - For Monroe County, KY - Updated the tax rate to 1%.
  - For Morgan County, KY - Updated the tax rate to 1.5%.
  - For Murray, KY - Added tax rate of 1%.
  - For Nortonville, KY - Added tax rate of 1.5%.
- Ohio
  - For Colerain Township-Cheviot-Liberty Nursing Health Care, OH - Added JEDD tax rate of 2%.
  - For Green Township - Cheviot - Mercy West District III, OH - Added JEDD tax rate of 1.5% which is effective until 9/30/2024 and a JEDD tax rate of 1% which is effective beginning 10/1/2024.
  - For Lebanon - TurtleCreek Township, OH - Added JEDD tax rate of 1.5%.
  - For Oakwood - Montgomery, OH - Updated the tax rate to 2.5%.
  - For Violet Township - Lancaster, OH - Added JEDD tax rate of 2.3%.
  - For Wilmot, OH - Updated the tax rate to 1.75%.

API Updates: (For Self-Hosted Clients)

Self-Hosted Notes:

Login server changes require a manual SQL migration script (20240503_self-hosted_sql_migrations.ps1 from the TempWorks GitHub repository) to be applied using appropriate paths:

> powershell.exe -File .\20240503_self-hosted_sql_migrations.ps1 C:\ProgramData\TempWorks\config\login-server
